College Board officially announced that the number of AP digital testing will increase from 9 to 28 in 2025, and here comes the guide for effective response and preparation!

After the AP exam leaks and cheating incidents, in order to stop the test paper leaks and cheating behavior to a greater extent, the College Board officially announced that starting from 2025, 28 AP exams will be converted to digital testing.

Among them, 16 AP exams completely canceled the paper test, all move to the Bluebook digital testing application; 12 AP exams using a hybrid digital testing mode.

Students will complete multiple-choice and free-response questions on the Bluebook platform, and all answers will be automatically submitted at the end of the exam.

Students will complete the multiple-choice questions and view the free-response questions on the Bluebook platform, but will be required to handwrite the free-response portion in the paper test booklet and return it for grading.

Regular Exam Period: May 5-16, 2025

For those taking AP Seminar, AP Research, and AP CSP, it is important to note that the deadline for submitting work is April 30, 2025 at 23:59 EST.

Delayed Exam Period: May 19-23, 2025

  1. Guidelines for Efficient Preparation for the 2025 AP Exam

Students who are preparing to take the 2025 AP Exam can consult with their school’s AP teacher or AP administrator to learn about AP exam registration deadlines and related matters.

The College Board will provide students with free AP test preparation resources, and as always, students can review and solidify their understanding of AP course content and skills by viewing and using free online practice questions, quizzes, and other exam questions designed by leading AP teachers in the AP Classroom.

In addition, SMOA Online U.S. High School AP Credit Courses can help students prepare for the exam efficiently. Own Mainland China AP Test Center

SMOA has its own mainland China AP test center located in Shanghai. U.S. high school diploma and AP credit students can register through SMOA, pay the AP exam fee to College Board normally, and after confirming the successful registration, they can take the corresponding AP subject exams at SMOA’s mainland China AP test center.
