Mr.Richardson has been involved with both international schools based in China and public schools in the United States where he holds a Teaching License for Science in the state of Florida.
Mr. Richardson is a graduate of the University of
Central Florida holding dual bachelor of science degrees and a Master’s in Physics. He prides himself on self-improvement and is continuing his education to attain his second master’s degree in applied economics.
In the classroom Mr. Richardson has an energetic style that complements his rigorous instruction well, balancing student engagement and student achievement.
A few personal notes about Mr. Richardson are: he is an accomplished tuba player, he was an engineer before he began teaching, and he loves spicy food.
Course Overview and Design
AP Microeconomics is a college-level course that introduces students to the principles of economics that apply to the functions of individual economic decision-makers. The course also develops students’ familiarity with the operation of product and factor markets, distributions of income, market failure, and the role of government in promoting greater efficiency and equity in the economy. Students learn to use graphs, charts, and data to analyze, describe, and explain economic concepts.
