Anita Cooper
Master of Education in Special Education, Master of Fine Arts, and Bachelor of Arts in Theater. She also holds TEFL and teaching certificates. She has used these educational accomplishments to teach a variety of subjects (Drama, Reading, Math, English, etc. ......) and grade levels in various states across the United States over the past 20+ years, such as Alabama, Florida, California, and Georgia. The ability and opportunity to instruct any student in any subject is something she believes should not be taken lightly, but cherished. She will continue her mission to educate and enlighten as many students as possible.

Course Syllabus(For Reference Only)

This advanced ESL course will provide students with a background of commonly used English language and expose them to advanced vocabulary so that they can communicate well in any English-speaking country and so they may engage in advanced and technical English conversations, especially in advanced academic setting like college.

Course Design

This course offers a carefully structured approach that focuses on writing as a process. It teaches rhetoric and sentence structure in a straightforward manner, using a step-by-step approach, high-interest models, and varied practice types.

This course integrates instruction in paragraph organization, sentence structure, grammar, and mechanics with the writing process. Students will be carefully guided through the steps of the writing process so that they may produce well-organized, clearly developed paragraphs that are essential to academic writing in English.

In this course, students will gain many of the skills that they will use the rest of their professional lives to communicate in the modern globalized world.
