Mr. AJ has been educator for over 10 years. He received all his degrees (BSc, MSc, PhD) in applied mathematics from the University of Otago in New Zealand. Mr. AJ has taught a variety of subjects to freshmen college students as well as offering private (online) tuition to senior level high school students.
Mr AJ’s teaching philosophy is to present math and the related topics in a simple and plain language avoiding unnecessary jargon or complex wording. He expects the students to be also able to explain what they have learned in an easy, simple language; in fact, that is how he is assured that his students have not just learned, but also understood the underlying concepts. Deep understanding is key to success in math-like subjects.
