Mastering AP English Literature and Composition: Opening the Door to America’s Top Universities

When it comes to the majors chosen for study abroad, Chinese students’ top choices are often business and engineering, a trend that is well reflected in the annual Open Doors report. However, among the top 20 universities in the U.S., except for a very small number of universities such as Stanford, MIT, Caltech and Cornell, most of the other highly ranked institutions are known for their liberal arts majors. Prior to the rise of modern science education, higher education was effectively the home of the liberal arts. Why taking AP courses is an important part of your college application?

Every year, the topic surrounding how many AP scores need to be submitted for undergraduate applications in the United States is discussed over and over again, and it is always impossible to come to a uniform conclusion. It is true that some students are admitted to Cornell University by early decision with only 4 APs, while others are only admitted to New York University even with 10 APs. However, most U.S. colleges, especially those ranked in the top 30, do not make it mandatory for applicants to submit AP scores, much less how many, except that they will use AP scores as a factor to be considered for admission. So, is it mandatory to take AP exams and submit scores to prove a student’s academic ability? Today, I would like to recommend a new idea – online AP credit classes. The Help of AP for College Applications AP courses are part of the U.S. college preparatory curriculum offered by the College Board. These courses are widely recognized worldwide and play an important role in the admissions and international student scholarship selection process at many universities. Disscus how AP can apply to G5 Universities in UK, “Top 3 Universities in Hong Kong”, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. With the adjustment of the standardization policy of Harvard University, Yale University, Dartmouth College and other top U.S. undergraduate colleges, the importance of AP is more and more prominent, and AP exams/AP credits are more able to help U.S. undergraduate applicants stand out. Is the AP system only suitable for applying to U.S. universities? The answer is of course no. Looking around the world, the more mainstream study areas and countries: Britain, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong (China), Singapore, in fact, can be applied through the AP. Students can even play a good mixed application of the U.S. high school identity “combination blows”. Multi-country mixed application: application pace and materials are basically the same Universities in the UK, Canada, Australia and Hong Kong will basically start submitting applications in September, and the pace of applications will remain the same. Application materials, including letters of recommendation, personal statements and other paperwork, as well as academic certification materials, are basically the same. Therefore, multi-country mixed application can not only increase the chance of being admitted to a prestigious school, but also allows us
