Dr. Jenaya Perdue
Dr. J has over 12 years of international and domestic training and experience in pedagogy in the Teacher Education program and Organizational Communication at Murray State University; and Educational Leadership at Western Kentucky University respectively. She successfully held a teaching appointment in the Department of Communication at universities for 7 years, in USA primary public schools for 3 years, and 1 year in public high school in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Dr. J can communicate (writing, speaking, listening) in Spanish, and she is strongly competent in program evaluation, campus internationalization, applied research, curriculum development, pedagogy, training, equity and diversity initiatives, and presentational practices. She is an ambitious, curious, articulate, and world-traveled doctoral graduate who is passionate about challenging individuals to set goals and achieve their aspirations.

This is an introductory college level course that will cultivate students understanding of rhetorical arguments through reading and analyzes and the writing of text as they explore topics as rhetorical situations, claims and evidence, reasoning and organization, and style.
