Roberto Moreno - President of St. Mary Online Academy

He has a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, specializing in Journalism and master’s degree in Business. He Engaged in education for more than 10 years, taught English and other courses at Miami-Dade College，USA, and taught journalism seminars at Miami University of for many years. With years of international teaching experience, he has a good understanding of students who are non-native English speakers, familiars with the difficulties encountered by students in language learning and is good at helping students solve problems and inspires students' interest in English learning. He hopes that through the experience and efforts of his own educators, he can help more Chinese students improve their international competitiveness.

Nathalie Dechanet -Andrews - Andrews- Vice President of St. Mary Online Academy

She has a degree in British and American Civilization and Literature from the University of Brittany, France, with a Postgraduate Education Certificate from Hope University, UK, and she has been engaged in education for more than 10 years in the UK and China; she currently serves as the vice president of SMOA, the dean of the Social Sciences Department and the president of St. Mary's High School Haimen Campus, and teaches many social science courses; the two things she loves most are discovering the world and sharing the cultural knowledge.

Dr. Rowelyn Odod

Rowelyn L. Odod, Ph.D, is the Science Department Chair at St. Mary’s School System. She’s a graduate of Doctor of Philosophy in Development Research Administration at University of Southeastern Philippines. She’s been an educator for 15 years, where she spent her first 2 years in teaching elementary pupils and 13 years in secondary level. She had a background in teaching Sciences (General Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics for more than 10 years), Math, Social Sciences, Human Philosophy, Statistics and Practical Research (for 3 years).Currently, she’s teaching at St. Mary’s School, handling Math and Science subjects ( AP Statistics and AP Physics 1). Aside from teaching, she’s also into Research and Statistics. She was a Master Teacher I in her country before she came in China last February 22, 2018.

Garrett Richardson

He has bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, bachelor's degree in Economics and master's degree in Physics. He has a pleasant and positive personality. Now he teaches Earth Space Science Honors and Integrated Science in the United States. He has experience in teaching international students and emphasis on building students’ basic knowledge; dedicates to helping students build the necessary skills so that they can discuss and share their ideas in a group and achieve their goals.

Mr. Howard Lavick

Howard Lavick received a B.A. in Photojournalism from the University of Minnesota in 1968, after which he became a combat photographer from 1969-71. Lavick earned an MFA in Film production from the USC School of Cinema in 1977 and later worked in documentary films and as a producer/director for pay-cable television. Now he teaches film classes part-time at St. Mary’s School and as an adjunct professor for Digital Cinema at Southern Oregon University.

Ms. Michaela Lavick

With a Master’s Degree in Literatures, Languages (German, English, Japanese), Cultural and Media Studies from the Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität-Bonn, Germany, and Professional Development Certificates in Teaching and Psychology from Loyola Marymount University, Michaela Lavick has covered many aspects of education, from teaching and advising, to management administration. She has been teaching cultural studies, rhetorical arts, history, literature, film and media classes over the past 25 years, first at Bonn University (Germany), then at Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles, USA). In 2014 Michaela Lavick joined St. Mary’s School in Medford.

Roneve Sarao

Taught AP Biology, Physical Science and Human Anotomy and Physiology at a public school in the US Mr. Roneve Sarao or Mr. S to most of his students has been an educator for over 14 years. Mr. S started his teaching career in the Philippines where he taught high school in a private institution where he teaches Advanced Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Research (Microbiology). He then made a jump to teach in a Public School in Columbia, South Carolina, USA teaching AP Biology, Biology, Physical Science and Human Anatomy and Physiology (Honors and CP). Mr. S has been with St. Mary’s since August of 2019 and is currently teaching in Wuhan 2 High School International Department.

Donnil Dignos

Passionate mathematics teacher with fifteen (15) years of experience working with students in grades 2-12, specializing in mathematics, physical education, scheince and performing Arts. Adept in creating a powerful curriculum in accordnace with educaitonal standards. Able to create and foster positive relationshops with students, staff, and family members of students. knowledgable and experienced in various educational philosophies, which best promote the overall experience of a student. A committed faculty member, experienced in organizing school events, trips, and fundraisers.

Kathryn Munro

She majored in Fashion Design and Sales and graduated from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. She founded the company "Karobs Catering Inc." in Toronto, which served the local film industry more than 10 years. Since 2015, she has been working in China. At first, she worked at an international school in Yantai as a School Librarian and Cultural Events Coordinator. Since 2019 she has been teaching Art I and Art II at St. Mary’s School in China.
